CV Editing — See Exactly What Changes, Before You Pay for It

If your CV already has the right experience on it, a full rewrite is money spent on work you don't need. What it usually needs is a specialist going through it line by line: fixing the formatting that breaks when it's parsed, rewriting duty-based bullets into outcome-based ones, and correcting the small conventions that differ between a CV built for the US/UK and one built for UAE, Saudi, or Qatar employers.
 

What "Gulf-ready formatting" actually means, specifically: Most editing services say this without defining it. Here's what we actually check against:
 

  • Parseability against the ATS platforms most commonly used by UAE/Saudi/Qatar employers and recruitment agencies (Taleo-class, Workday-class, and SAP SuccessFactors-class systems all parse differently,  a layout that's clean in one can still fail another)

  • Field conventions Gulf recruiters expect to see and where: visa status, nationality, and (sector-dependent) photo,  placed correctly, not just present

  • Length and density norms, 2 pages for most professional roles, adjusted only for genuine 15+ year or academic/medical careers

  • Consistency between how your CV reads and how your LinkedIn reads, if you're using both in the same application

What's the difference between CV editing and CV writing?

Editing works with your existing content and structure; writing starts from an intake interview and builds new content from the ground up. Editing is right if the substance is there but the presentation isn't; writing is right if you're changing industries, moving to a new seniority level, or your CV hasn't been meaningfully updated in years.

Can you edit a CV that's not in Word format?

Yes,  PDF, Google Docs, or Word all work as input; you'll receive the final version in both Word and PDF regardless of what you send.

How is this different from the free CV review?

The free review gives you a written diagnostic you can act on yourself. Editing is us actually making the changes.
